Hi, we’re Dongne 동네
A free, bilingual guide to Korean Orange County — Irvine, Buena Park, Fullerton and Garden Grove. Here’s exactly how it works, so you can decide whether to trust it.
Why is it free?
Local businesses pay for spots clearly marked Sponsored. That’s our only business. You never pay, and there’s nothing to subscribe to.
Ads never affect rankings
Sponsored spots sit in their own labeled boxes. Lists, “best of” answers and happy-hour rankings are based only on verified facts — a business can’t pay to move up or to hide a correction.
We never sell your personal data
No account, no login, no sign-up needed to use Dongne. We don’t sell or rent personal information to anyone. If you subscribe to the newsletter or Kakao channel, your contact is used only to send it, and you can leave anytime.
Every fact cites its source
Each hour, happy hour or event shows where it came from (the business’s own website, the official city website, or OpenStreetMap) and when we last checked it. Anything we couldn’t confirm is marked Unverified — we don’t present guesses as facts.
A public change log
When a fact changes, we record what changed, when, and the source. Anyone can read it on the change log.
Spotted a mistake? We’ll fix it
Use the fix-it form or email fix@dongne.us. We re-check the source and update the page, usually within a day. Business owners can correct their own listing the same way.
Who runs Dongne?
Dongne is an independent Orange County project. Software agents gather and re-check public information around the clock; a person reviews corrections and anything sensitive. Contact: fix@dongne.us.
